The Guinness Storehouse
This is Dublin’s most famous holiday attraction, with over four million visitors since it’s opening in 2004. For most a visit to the Guinness Storehouse is right at the top of the holiday itinerary.
The museum part of the brewery is split into seven levels, each of which is on a different floor. The bottom floor introduces the drink’s four ingredients: water, barley, hops and yeast. The other floors outline a history of Guinness advertising, which leads to the top floor which is a beautiful bar called Gravity, that has a wonderful view of the Dublin skyline. All the floors surround a glass atrium that is shaped like a glass of Guinness.
The museum is very strong on merchandise and is a great place for you to pick up some holiday souvenirs.
